Overview:
The Retail Sales Associate is the face of the store, guiding customers through appliance purchases, both in-store and online. This role involves sales, customer service, product knowledge, and light showroom duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, understand their appliance needs, and recommend suitable options.
- Explain features, warranties, delivery/installation services, and financing options (if offered).
- Process sales transactions (POS, cash, credit, online orders).
- Maintain showroom displays (pricing labels, cleanliness, organized layouts).
- Take product photos/videos for online listings (Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, OfferUp, Craigslist, etc.).
- Answer customer calls/messages about product availability and delivery scheduling.
- Coordinate with delivery team and technician to ensure appliances are ready and functional.
- Track daily sales and report to management.
Daily Duties:
- Open/close register; count and balance cash drawer.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers.
- Post/update products online with prices, pictures, and descriptions.
- Answer calls, texts, and online inquiries.
- Tag new inventory and place appliances on the sales floor.
- Clean, dust, and organize appliances for a professional showroom look.
- Upsell extended services (delivery, installation, protection plans).
- Assist with minor warehouse tasks (moving appliances with a dolly if needed).
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred (appliance/furniture sales a plus).
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Basic computer skills for POS and online listings.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance or equipment (appliances are heavy).
- Friendly, professional, and sales-driven attitude.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus in Texas markets.

Base Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
