About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the management of the organization's finance department and resources. This role requires a team-oriented individual with a progressive and visionary approach to financial planning, who can ensure that the company's financial strategic direction is advanced and that resources are managed effectively. The CFO will also be the primary representative of the organization in the community, with funders, the Board of Directors, and banking institutions. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field, with a CPA license preferred. Extensive experience in non-profit financial management, a thorough understanding of GAAP, and grant management experience are essential. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, the ability to interact positively with various stakeholders, and a proven track record of making sound decisions in complex financial situations. The role demands a positive, solution-oriented individual who can manage change and is capable of interpreting complex financial data for a range of audiences.
