Labcorp Phlebotomist Float – Manchester, NJ Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am‑4:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 6:00 am‑11:00 am Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation At least 21 years old Pay and Incentives Pay range: $17.75 – $26.00 per hour PST Incentive Plan: quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Float Incentive: additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off or Flexible Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees eligible for 401(k) plan only Employees on 7 on/7 off schedule eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
