CT TechnologistEnvision Imaging seeks a Full-Time CT Technologist to join the team! Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Position Pay Range: $35.35 - $45.57 | $5,000 sign-on bonus to eligible hiresThe CT Technologists performs CT examinations, positions patient, and performs cross-section anatomical scans using proper technical factors and computer programs to provide image and numerical values of tissue density.Essential FunctionsInterfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.Performs exams while attending to patient's care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.Transfers images to other locations as needed.Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.Other duties as assigned.CompetenciesTechnical CapacityEthical ConductThoroughnessTime ManagementPersonal Effectiveness/CredibilitySupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervision responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment.
