Outpatient Dietitian In Salem Hospital's Bariatric Surgery Clinic

Manages comprehensive medical nutritional care for patients, including nutrition assessment, development of nutrition care plans, dietary modification, nutrition education, and all activities related to the nutritional needs of the patient/client population.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and implements a nutrition plan of care for patients.
• Documents all nutrition-related information.
• Counsels, educates, and develops resources to educate patients, families, & caregivers on prescribed therapeutic diets.
• Partners with food service staff to ensure meals, supplements, and nutrition support is provided.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study or Master's Degree Related Field of Study required.
• Registered Dietitian [RD/RDN] - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
• Completion of dietetic internship required.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to guide, teach, and motivate all patient age populations.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Pay Range: $55,390.40 - $80,485.60/Annual
