Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to lead systems optimization and process improvement initiatives across our enterprise business units. In this role, you will evaluate real-time data to identify efficiency gaps, develop technical system prototypes, and act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. In this role, you will evaluate real-time data to identify efficiency gaps, develop technical system prototypes, and act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. location: Chicago, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $41.34 - 51.34 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities Create and implement precise project management plans while maintaining transparent communication across all stakeholder levels. Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance testing at every stage of systems development. Determine and document detailed user requirements for production systems to optimize overall usability. Partner collaboratively with cross-functional teams (including sales, finance, security, and compliance) to deliver required documentation and analysis. Conduct daily systems analytics to assess performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain systems processes. Deliver monthly status reports, author internal/external technical documentation, and build lasting partner relationships to ensure smooth systems integration. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Systems Development capacity. High proficiency with SQL and Python for data evaluation and system analysis. Demonstrated track record of gathering technical requirements, authoring system documentation, and generating executive reports. Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience. Practical experience working with Business Objects. Familiarity with ITIL Foundations concepts.
