Sterile Processing TechProcessing of reusable patient supplies and surgical instrumentation. Decontamination of instruments, equipment, and patient reusable supplies. Responsible for processing a minimum of 20 instrument trays and 10 peel packs per shift, in alignment with departmental productivity standards. Preparation of instrumentation and patient reusable supplies. Sterilization of instruments and patient reusable supplies. Assist with maintaining departmental inventory. Reporting of malfunctioning equipment and discrepancies to supervisor/manager. Contributes to and participates in departmental improvement projects. Attends all required safety training programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety and specific job-related hazards. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs. Solicits customer feedback to improve service. Responds to requests for service and assistance. Meets commitments. Maintains a positive attitude and willingness to carry out assignments.
