Car Wash Attendant

Job Summary The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Field Support Services (FSS) fleet vehicles. This role involves routine hand-washing, interior cleaning, waxing, and preparing vehicles for issuance to support the operational readiness and preservation of the fleet. Responsibilities Hand-wash the exterior of all FSS pool cars at least twice a month or as needed. Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month. Perform hand-waxing of all FSS pool cars on a quarterly basis. Assist in preparing new and re-issued vehicles for deployment. Clean new or re-issued vehicles that have accumulated dirt or grime while on the lot. Protect the State Police s investment by ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and presentable. Required Skills & Certifications High School diploma or GED. Minimum age of 18 years. Valid Indiana driver s license. Ability to perform manual cleaning and detailing tasks. Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience with vehicle detailing or fleet maintenance support. Knowledge of proper vehicle cleaning and waxing techniques. Special Considerations Absences greater than two weeks must be approved in advance with contact information provided. Must pass an extensive background investigation including credit, financial, educational, criminal, employment, medical, and military records. Interviews are conducted onsite. Scheduling Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Total workweek is 37.5 hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr vTech Solution
