Occupational TherapistShift: DaysAssignment Details:Guaranteed Hours: 40Contract Length: 13 weeksRequirements:Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferredLicensed as an Occupational Therapist in the stateBasic Life Support (BLS) certification preferredPrior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferredRoles & Responsibilities:Collaborate with residents and care providers to deliver occupational therapy services, promoting independence in daily activities.Conduct evaluations and develop therapeutic plans of care with defined goals.Provide activities of daily living (ADL) training and assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and positioning.Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust plans to meet established functional goals.Document all interactions and progress in the EMR, ensuring accessibility for the care team.Recommend and instruct residents on the use of assistive devices.Supervise assistant-level staff as appropriate and mentor new staff during orientation.Client Details:City: WalthamState: MATLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
