Job Title Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Neonatal Pediatrics Location London, KY Job Summary Provide inpatient care services in the Pediatric Neonatology Intensive Unit as a faculty member. Direct patient care for admitted newborns, write daily progress notes, submit clinical charges, and oversee fellows, residents, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff. Serve as a primary clinical educator, participate in on‑call coverage, and attend scientific meetings. Serve on institutional committees as needed. Responsibilities Direct patient care for admitted newborns in the NICU. Write daily progress notes and submit clinical charges. Supervise fellows, residents, neonatal nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff. Provide teaching to pediatric residents and other health care professionals. Participate in night and weekend on‑call coverage as assigned. Attend regional, national, and international scientific meetings. Serve on Children’s Hospital and College of Medicine committees as needed. Qualifications M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent. Completion of residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Neonatology. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and in Neonatology. Eligible for a state‑required medical license.
