Now Hiring – Housekeeping Room Attendant Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant Department: Grand Hotel Reports To: Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper Exemption Status: Non‑exempt Job Summary: Responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of hotel guest rooms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors and carpets. Dusting, brushing, polishing, wiping, and straightening furniture, appliances, and surfaces. Changing linen and making beds. Cleaning showers, toilets, tubs, sinks and bathroom fixtures. Removing used guest amenities and trash. Inspecting rooms for lost and found items, safety hazards or damage and reporting same to supervisor. Maintaining storage rooms and housekeeping carts. Comply with established safety, sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards. Essential Physical Requirements Constant standing, bending, kneeling, wiping, lifting, pushing, pulling during entire shift. Lift up to 50 lbs.
