Boston's Bridge To Excellence Inc. is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher/Site Coordinator to join our team in Hyde Park, MA! In this dynamic dual role, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young learners while helping to lead and coordinate a thriving educational program. If you're driven by making a real difference in your community, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Supervise and mentor classroom staff, volunteers, and teaching assistants at the site
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support as needed
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and program documentation
- Coordinate program activities, events, and scheduling in alignment with organizational goals
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in a lead teaching or site coordination role
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team of educators
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for youth development and community-based education
