This role involves working in a Level I Trauma Unit performing cardiac catheterizations, occasional electrophysiology procedures, and interventional radiology cases. The technologist will support a busy department with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, primarily working day shifts. Job Details Location: Houston, TX Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Start Date: 08/31/2026 Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; valid license to submit; no specific degree required; location in Houston, TX Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I Trauma setting; familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system; ability to work 3 days per month on call, with 4-5 call shifts per month and one weekend per month Schedule: 4x10-hour days, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional Information: The unit performs approximately 40-50 cases daily, including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. The position includes on-call requirements and access to parking options ranging from $15 daily to monthly passes for off-campus garages.
