Facilities Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a critical role in sustaining and optimizing the facility’s complex electrical systems for a large government construction client! This position supports mission-critical power distribution, system reliability, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance with federal standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical power distribution systems for federal facilities including substations, switchgear, transformers, panels, and distribution networks. Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and design documents for new construction and renovation projects. Produce and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment layouts using engineering design software. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes including NEC, UFC, NFPA, and other applicable standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum of six (6) years of combined experience in electrical design and construction Additional Requirements Must provide at least three (3) examples of projects of similar scale and complexity where the candidate held a comparable role.
