Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) - Full-Time

We are seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to provide respiratory care to patients of all ages in an acute-care setting. The therapist will assess respiratory needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and support patients requiring routine and complex respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory needs and develop individualized respiratory care plans.
• Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures.
• Operate and manage acute-care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Maintain accurate department and patient records and document treatments in the hospital computer system.
• Work independently when needed and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care/Respiratory Therapy program or approved vocational/technical program.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current Florida CRT or RRT license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and move as required.
