Job Summary

Texas Power Bars is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, inventory organization, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with physical work, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate works well with a team, takes pride in keeping the warehouse organized, and can safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Assembly barbells and pack in tubes, picking up and moving around, 40lbs to 60lbs
• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, defects, or incorrect items
• Verify received products against packing slips and purchase orders
• Label, store, and organize raw materials, components, finished barbells, and shipping supplies
• Pull products and materials for customer orders and production needs
• Verify item numbers, finishes, quantities, and order accuracy
• Prepare, package, label, and stage orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and forklifts when qualified
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and shipping stations clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Assist with assembly, packaging, receiving, and other shop tasks when needed
• When needed to work on or run machines on other side of shop possible for help

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, or forklifts is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently after training
• Ability to work well with supervisors and team members
• Basic computer, inventory, or shipping-system experience is helpful

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift, bend, reach, push, pull, load products, and safely lift approximately 50 pounds. This position involves working around steel products, machinery, trucks, and normal warehouse noise.

Schedule and Pay

Full-time weekday position. Overtime may be available depending on production and shipping needs.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
