Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

This position is within a peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves working with a dedicated team and providing excellent patient care in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist in managing patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams in the performance of procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered (R).
• BLS certification required.
• State certification or license in radiologic technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Varied 8-hour shifts may start as early as 7:00 am and can include starting times of 7:30 am, 8:00 am, and 8:30 am. Weekend support is provided through a rotating on-call system among team members.

Contract Length

This position offers a contract length of 13 to 26 weeks.
