Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - BSN - BLS - AHA - ACLS - TNCC preferred Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
