Schedule: 3p-3a, 7p-7a

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: Active New York State Nursing License in good standing

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department serving all ages.

• Obtain and maintain ACLS and PALS certifications.

• Adhere to nurse/patient ratios of 1:3 - 1:5.

• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.

• Read strips and manage drips and vents as required.

• Collaborate with hospitalist team and support staff during shifts.

• Follow hospital-specific protocols and protocols for stroke center care.

• Complete floor-specific orientation and training as needed.

• Contribute to a team providing care in a NYS Designated Stroke Center.
