Student Accounts Associate

The Student Accounts Associate is responsible for coordinating, billing, collecting and analyzing accounts and student financial aid receivables. Schoolcraft is a comprehensive, open-door, community-based college. Required Qualifications Associate degree in related field. Two (2) years of experience in accounts receivable, or related accounting background. Completion of the following Schoolcraft College courses or equivalent from another institution: ACCT 201 (Principles of Accounting); ACCT 202. General clerical skills including accuracy in basic math, filing, proofreading, typing, spelling and data entry. Ability to understand and operate appropriate office equipment, including personal computers and working knowledge of department-specific software. Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to provide high quality customer service. Ability to function within a team. Ability to work with a diverse public.
