Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility located in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a dynamic surgical team, supporting multiple surgical disciplines including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine. The position requires on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on robotic surgeries, trauma, and teaching hospital experience.

• Position Description:
  The OR Nurse will support various surgical procedures including robotic, orthopedic, neuro/spine, ENT, vascular, and trauma surgeries. Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, managing drains and epidural pumps, caring for vascular devices such as PICC lines and Port-A-Caths, and operating specialized equipment like Wound Vac and epidural pumps. Experience in orthopedic sports medicine and robotic surgeries is preferred.
• Shift Schedule:
  On-call shifts are 12 hours; weekdays from 7 pm to 7 am, and weekends/holidays are either 7 pm to 7 am or 7 am to 7 pm.
• Certifications:
  ACLS, BLS (Required)
• Experience:
  Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, including trauma and teaching hospital exposure. Additional experience in robotics, colorectal, neurological, and gynecologic robotic surgeries preferred.
• Skills & Procedures:
  Abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, breast augmentation, cholecystectomy, colon resection, colorectal robotic surgery, conscious sedation, cystoscopy, dilation & curettage, endoscopic sinus procedures, free flap microvascular, gastrointestinal robotic surgery, hernia repair, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic procedures, laryngectomy, lumbar fusion, total joint replacement, transoral robotic surgery, urology robotic surgery, and more.
• Additional Requirements:
  Two professional references covering the past 1 year, with experience in trauma level and teaching hospital settings, EMR experience with Epic, Cerner, and Meditech.
• Additional notes:
  Candidate must self-assess proficiency levels for specific surgical skills including wound vac, epidural pumps, robotics, and vascular device care. No limitations will prevent acceptance, and housing has been explored by the candidate.
