Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Starkloff Disability Institute (SDI) is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) . In this role, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live more independently and participate fully in their communities.

What You'll Do

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will:

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, dressing, eating, and mobility support.
• Support individuals in accessing community activities, educational opportunities, employment-related programs, and appointments.
• Encourage independence while providing the level of assistance each individual needs.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and organizational policies.
• Communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, and SDI staff.
• Complete required documentation and report concerns as appropriate.
• Serve as a positive and professional representative of Starkloff Disability Institute.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, PCA, Direct Support Professional (DSP), CNA, or in a related role.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Compensation
