Mobile Device Support Specialist

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Device Support Specialist for a leading construction and field services organization. This individual will support the full lifecycle of company-owned mobile devices, including deployment, configuration, inventory management, shipping, recovery, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a hands‑on IT support environment. This role offers exposure to enterprise mobility, device management platforms, Microsoft technologies, carrier operations, and IT service delivery while providing significant opportunities for professional growth. Day-to-Day: Configure, enroll, and deploy company iPhones and iPads Manage mobile device requests, tickets, and support queues Activate devices, install applications, configure MFA, and perform quality checks Package, ship, receive, and track mobile devices and accessories Maintain accurate inventory, asset, and carrier records Support employee onboarding, offboarding, upgrades, and device replacements Troubleshoot mobile service, device, application, and enrollment issues Process returned devices for reuse, recycling, or replacement Communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and internal teams regarding support requests Assist with mobile technology operations and process improvements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 1+ year of technical support, device deployment, inventory, logistics, or customer service experience Experience supporting iPhones, iPads, mobile applications, and basic wireless troubleshooting Strong attention to detail with inventory tracking, device assignments, and documentation Ability to follow technical processes and procedures consistently Strong organizational and communication skills Customer-focused mindset with ability to prioritize multiple tasks Ability to work independently and elevate issues when needed High school diploma or equivalent Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, or another mobile device management platform. Experience with carrier portals, SIM/eSIM activation, or corporate wireless accounts. Experience with an IT service management or ticketing system. Experience preparing and shipping technical equipment. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or MFA.
