Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 / year

Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Quality Assurance Supervisor will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems ensuring our products and processes meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, mentor quality personnel, and serve as the primary point of contact for audits, customer quality concerns, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines (such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IPC standards).
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external customer or certification audits.
• Maintain document control procedures, quality records, calibration systems, and inspection equipment programs.

Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

• Drive the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes using robust root cause analysis tools.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and boosting customer satisfaction.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify and present improvement opportunities to senior management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, purchasing, and suppliers to swiftly resolve quality issues.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Supervise, mentor, and train quality inspectors, technicians, and quality associates.
• Foster a workplace culture built on accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Customer & Supplier Quality

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Evaluate, monitor, and work alongside suppliers to resolve non-conformances and improve incoming product quality.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience: 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Leadership: 3+ years of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IPC standards.
• Skills: Proven experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered).
• Systems: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE).
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, distribution, or electromechanical components.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work comfortably in both an office and a warehouse/manufacturing floor environment.
• Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to inspect products and review production processes on the active warehouse floor.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
