Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in industrial operations, is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Fremont, California

Pay Range: $33-34/hr.

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair equipment to ensure maximum performance and availability.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, including preventive maintenance schedules and repair logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and prioritize workload to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Continuously develop technical skills through training and on-the-job experience.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a similar industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and calibrating industrial sensors such as proximity, temperature, and flow sensors.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, AC/DC circuits, motors, relays, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
