Job Description
Exciting Opportunity in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology!

Job Description:
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:00)
- Schedule: 5x 8 hour days (Start time 6-8 am dependent on scheduled cases)
- On-call Requirements:
- On-call 24/7 (1 week on, 1 week off)
- Must arrive within 30 minutes to the facility


- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- BSN


- Experience Required:
- Must have prior Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience
- Experience in either IR Cardiac call or IR Neuro IR Call


- Clinical Skills:
- Cardiac Cath Lab Experience (support STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions)
- Interventional Radiology experience required
- Circulating experience needed


- Patient Care Details:
- Work with diverse patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Daily census: 310 hospital census / 15-20 IR cases per day
- Interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and more


- Patient Diagnoses Managed:
- Ascites, Pleural Effusion, Renal Cancer, Liver Cancer
- Cardiogenic shock, Peripheral arterial disease, Pulmonary embolism


- Special Procedures Performed:
- Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Drain placement, Embolization
- IABP insertion and management, temporary pacemaker insertion
- Right heart catheterization, PCI, Left Heart catheterization


- Equipment Used:
- Penumbra thrombectomy system, Rotational Atherectomy, Impella
- IVUS/ IFR/ FFR, CO2 monitoring, portable Ventilator
