Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems — and we need practitioners who truly understand how cloud environments fail in the real world. As a Cloud Security Analyst, you'll analyze real-world cloud security scenarios, identify failure patterns, and help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on cloud infrastructure security. Your hands-on expertise will directly shape how the next generation of AI reasons about cloud risk. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, misconfigurations, and failure patterns Review and evaluate IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues in realistic contexts Classify security gaps and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact and blast radius Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold Provide structured, expert feedback that helps frontier AI models think like a seasoned cloud security practitioner Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts Familiar with real-world misconfigurations, incident patterns, and their downstream consequences Able to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with cloud security tooling (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center, Azure Defender) Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or cloud incident response Familiarity with frameworks like CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or the Cloud Security Alliance guidelines Prior experience contributing to AI training or evaluation projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Make a meaningful impact on how AI understands and reasons about real-world cloud security Potential for ongoing work and contract extension #J-18808-Ljbffr Alignerr
