Medical Assistant/LPN

We are looking for a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our collaborative orientated team at Scottslawn Primary Care! As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care. This is a Monday-Friday opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 7 am-5 pm.

Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care. As an LPN, a majority of your time will be spent triaging and answering patient calls along with medication reconciliation and prior authorization.

• Assist with triaging patients
• Accompany patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc.
• Collecting & Document patient history in Epic
• Assist physician with various procedures

What You'll Bring:

• Completion of post secondary program in Medical Assistant and experience in a physician office OR
• American Association of Medical Assistants certification (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant certification (RMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) preferred.
