Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Price, Utah

Job Description

A retail pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide professional medication dispensing and patient care services on a per diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience looking to support a busy pharmacy environment with a committed team.

Location:

Price, Utah

Schedule:

Weekdays: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Work dates requested: August 21 and August 22

Environment & Volume:

Retail pharmacy setting
Team includes 1.5 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
Daily prescription volume of approximately 75 to 100

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with state laws and pharmacy policies
Provide patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who handle order entry using Pioneer RX system
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Valid Utah pharmacy license required
Retail pharmacy experience essential
Experience with Pioneer RX a plus but not required; technicians handle the order entry process
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
