Job TitleJob DescriptionQualifications:ERP System experience preferred (but not required)PVF industry experience preferred1+ years' experience in shipping and receivingExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamicsCapable of working a consistent schedule starting at 7AMAbility to pass a background check and drug screenReliable transportationCommitted to working safely and following policies and procedures of the operationPositive attitude; good team playerResponsibilities:Receives and unloads freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksChecks for damaged goodsDelivers and retrieves product from storage areasTags and issues productStocks shelves and rotates inventoryAssembles pallets or selects preassembled containers, inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective paddingMay operate forklift, reach truck or stand up order picker to move, transport, or hoist materialObserve all safety precautions and wear appropriate PPE at all timesCross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as neededMaintain Housekeeping in assigned work areaAny other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or managerPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objectsWork involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing laddersEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
