THE KATONAH WAY PHARMACY is looking for a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Counter Person to join our team in Katonah, NY. Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with professionalism and care

Process prescription drop-offs and pick-ups accurately and efficiently

Handle cash register transactions, including payments and insurance co-pays

Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy floor

Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff

Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day operations

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior retail, customer service, or pharmacy experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

Basic computer and cash handling skills

Dependable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude

Familiarity with pharmacy software or POS systems is a plus
