Senior Financial Data Analyst - Healthcare

You will shape financial strategies and drive decision-making with advanced tools like SQL, Tableau, and RedShift. This role supports the monthly close process, claim reserve analysis, member economics reports, medical claims reinsurance reporting, and regulatory reporting. Salary: $87,647.11 – $98,603.00 per year. Responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain reports and analytics to empower leadership with key financial insights. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of routine and ad-hoc reports in collaboration with internal and external customers. Create customized dashboards for the Finance department using SQL, Tableau, and RedShift. Automate reports with the IT team for efficient metric monitoring. Support the monthly close process and conduct claim reserve analysis. Create member economics reports to aid strategic decision-making. Lead medical claims reinsurance reporting and support preparation of provider group financial statements. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experience. Experience in actuarial functions focusing on building the claims reserve, updating claims triangles, and IBNR estimation. Ability to perform complex data analysis and develop reports/dashboards in a healthcare setting. Excellent technical skills in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Access, Python, etc. Capacity to multi-task at a high detail-oriented level. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal). Strong analytical and logical skills paired with strong attention to detail.
