Job Title: Construction Plumber

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Plumber to install and assemble plumbing systems on commercial and residential construction projects. This role involves working from blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring all plumbing installations meet code and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install piping systems for water, gas, drainage, and waste on new construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine system layout
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
• Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems
• Lay out and mark positions for pipe installation, connections, and fixtures
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality
• Coordinate with general contractors and other trades to ensure proper installation sequencing
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
• Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and project requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in construction plumbing (commercial or residential)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairfield, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
