About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PICU RN in Denver, Colorado, 80012!

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 20-bed PICU with a 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor equipment including Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures
• Manage care of patients in respiratory failure, including ETT and HFOV
• Perform CT placement and provide central line maintenance and care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

• Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

• Post-operative cardiac experience
• Venous puncture skills
• Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented work style

• Work alongside an experienced, tenured PICU nursing team in a well-staffed unit with a dedicated free charge RN on every shift
• Gain exposure to a high-acuity pediatric environment with advanced technology and a diverse range of critical care procedures
