Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Washington
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Active vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or reliable transportation
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required; home health RN experience preferred
• Associate degree in nursing or higher preferred
• Strong nursing assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the interdisciplinary care team

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home health setting in accordance with the plan of care
• Initiate, develop, implement, and revise care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Complete comprehensive assessments and accurate clinical documentation, including medication reconciliation and visit records
• Support care coordination by communicating patient status, visit needs, and schedule changes to the appropriate team members
• Ensure care is delivered in compliance with regulatory standards, infection control practices, and agency policies
• Supervise and support home health aides and licensed practical/vocational nurses as appropriate
• Participate in weekend rotation, on-call coverage, and holiday scheduling as needed
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts, patient safety initiatives, and positive patient outcomes
