You'll also have access to:Career development with an international company where you can grow your career.Employees can qualify for free medical coverage in our Health Investment Plan (HIP) PPO medical plan in the next calendar year.An excellent retirement savings plan with a high employer contribution.Tuition reimbursement, the Freedom 2 Save student debt program, and FreeU education benefit - an affordable and convenient path to getting a bachelor's degree.A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries worldwide and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as the best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.The Opportunity:The Portland, OR facility is seeking a highly capable and organized Manufacturing Supervisor to drive production performance by maintaining strong daily engagement with staff, using a hands-on approach to communication, problem-solving, and performance management to build a high-performing, motivated team.What You'll Work OnManage a team of manufacturing operators and production technicians (incl. full-time and contingent staff).Manage day-to-day operations for the production shift, including labor and material flow, production scheduling, line support, and change management.Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff.Lead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall manufacturing performance to achieve daily and long-term targets.Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.Required Qualifications :Associates Degree or Bachelors DegreeMinimum 3 years related work experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment.Strong supervisor skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees.Effective communication (verbal, written), interpersonal, and motivational skills.Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results.Preferred QualificationsMedical device industry experienceExperience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping).The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
