As a CMA memory care team member at Maple View Memory Care in Grand Forks, North Dakota, you will provide hands-on, compassionate support to individuals experiencing Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and related conditions. A Certified Medication Aide in our community blends clinical responsibility with genuine human connection. You will work alongside nurses, caregivers, and families to deliver care that honors each resident's dignity and personal history. The CMA memory care approach we embrace emphasizes calm routines, gentle redirection, and attentive observation, so residents can live each day with comfort and respect.

• Administer medications accurately and on schedule in accordance with established protocols and under nursing supervision.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, or response to medication, and report observations promptly.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of all medications administered and resident status.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility when needed.
• Use person-centered communication techniques to support residents experiencing confusion or agitation.
• Collaborate with the care team to update and follow individualized care plans.
• Help create a secure, engaging environment that reflects the specialized focus of CMA memory care work.
• Support families with warmth and reassurance during visits and transitions.

• Current Certified Medication Aide certification valid in North Dakota, along with a Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
• Understanding of medication administration practices and safety standards.
• Experience caring for older adults or individuals with cognitive impairment is valued, though we are glad to support those building this expertise.
• Patience, emotional steadiness, and the ability to respond calmly in changing situations.
• Reliable attendance and a genuine willingness to work as part of a team.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues.
