Fire Alarm Inspector - Centennial CO Office

Military Technical Recruiting (MTR.vet) | Full time Salary $27-32/HR, With OT even at low end will make $65-70k with just 5 hours OT Industry Manufacturing Additional Comp 5-10 hours or possibly more OT each week Job Type Full time Job Description Full-time fire alarm inspector role testing and inspecting commercial fire-alarm systems across the Denver metro area. You'll be working in schools, hospitals, government buildings, and commercial facilities, identifying deficiencies, monitoring fire-alarm panels, and coordinating directly with building owners and engineers. This is a customer-facing position with real career growth in front of it. The company is in the middle of a major multi-year project with a steady, predictable pipeline of work. What You'll Do: Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings on a scheduled rotation Inspect initiating devices like smoke detectors, heat detectors, and pull stations, plus notification appliances such as horns, strobes, and speakers Monitor and operate fire-alarm control panels during testing Identify and document deficiencies, code violations, and equipment failures found during inspections Coordinate directly with building owners, engineers, and facility managers before, during, and after testing Review inspection reports and initiate next steps such as repairs, retests, or follow-up service calls Drive a company vehicle between job sites across the Denver metro area Follow all company safety policies and NFPA inspection standards on every job Requirements High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) At least 1 year of relevant field service or customer service experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in electronics, fire alarm/life safety, or building automation is a plus Full benefits Package - Details to follow Medical 401k with a match Company Vehicle Laptop Specialty tools and sometimes all tools provided Cell Phone reimbursement $85/month or Provided by company #J-18808-Ljbffr MTR.vet
