Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will be integral to the creation and packaging of quality products. Utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), you will ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of machines, equipment, and the work environment. Your role will involve blending and packaging finished goods, following batch ticket 'recipes' to weigh and process ingredients from powder to liquid form.

Responsibilities

• Process quality products using SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, equipment, and work environment.
• Blend and package finished goods.
• Receive and follow batch ticket instructions.
• Weigh ingredients accurately using scales.
• Operate machines to convert powder into liquid flavors.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Technical knowledge and skills in production and machine operation.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Desire to learn and drive process improvements.
• Ability to support the production lead.
• Familiarity with GMPs and documentation processes.
• Ensure product traceability.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.

Safety is a top priority, and the team comprises 43 employees, with approximately 20 in production. Prepare to be on your feet for extended periods and engage in lifting tasks, with a focus on maintaining a clean and secure workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
