Mile Bluff makes decisions for its employees and patients locally without relying on a large health system in another community.General Information:Job title: Long-term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Location: Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - New Lisbon, WISchedules Available: Full-time, 75 hours per pay period; PM ShiftPart-time 1, 60 hours per pay period; PM ShiftPart-time 2, 15 hours per pay period; PM ShiftWeekend rotation: Every other weekendHoliday rotation: Every other holidayAdditional Information: **Up to $3,000 sign on bonus**Position Summary:The Nursing Home Licensed Practical Nurse position assesses and passes medication to residents, reports to physician any changes they have, reports to charge nurse, updates family members, and assists CNAs.Position Responsibilities:Administer medications to residents while following the 5 RightsReport any allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation to Director of Nursing and AdministratorReport any change in condition to the charge nurseAssist CNAs with answering call lights and other responsibilitiesUpdate physicians, family members, etc. of change in condition as neededPerform other duties as requested.Position Requirements:Must hold and maintain Wisconsin LPN license.Current CPR/BLS certification required.1+ years of related work experience preferred.Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesIntermediate proficiency with computers is required.Knowledgeable regarding medication administration.Comprehensive nursing skills.Strong quantitative and analytical competency.Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with co-workers, patients, and supervisors is essential.LOCATION DESCRIPTIONWith a population of 1,800, New Lisbon, "The Friendly City", provides a small town feel while being surrounded by unique recreational and cultural experiences.
