Founding Product Engineer

Role Description

Veedma is a telehealth practice for men's hormonal and sexual health. The product encompasses:

• Patient flow: intake, lab ordering, provider review, prescriptions, messaging, billing.
• Integration with Akute (EMR) and Stripe (billing).
• AI-native features utilizing OpenAI's API from Python.

You will work directly with both founders every day. The CTO will review your code.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years building production web apps end-to-end.
• Healthcare experience, particularly in telehealth, EHR, digital therapeutics, or medical-device companies.
• Strong Python skills, with production-level experience.
• Experience with external integrations, particularly payments, EHR, messaging, or identity.
• Experience shipping LLM features to real users.
• Comfortable with tooling and building internal dashboards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in shipping features that real customers use and pay for.
• Daily use of Claude Code for at least 6 months, with a deep understanding of its capabilities.
• Ability to ship across the stack daily, including frontend, backend, schema migrations, and infrastructure.
• Experience with tests on critical parts of the codebase.
