Driving to and from vendor facilities, picking up and delivering parts. Support the warehouse with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, assisting with moving material and tools to the production line.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Moves parts, WIP, or finished products and delivers mail packages to the various department or warehouse locations
• Operates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts
• Maintains the required documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures
• Drives in various road conditions, small roadways, and highways
• Ensure work areas and other designated work areas are maintained safely and neatly
• Ensure all material and inventory remain properly identified and stored free from damage or deterioration

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:

• Preferred 1-year experience with manufacturing, inventory, or related functions
• Preferred high school diploma or GED
• Proficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning or transacting, the printing of picklists
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable inventory accuracy, quality, and time standards
• Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening

Physical demands on this role:

• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work with arms above the head
• Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $17.52 - $21.79. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
