Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical ICU position requiring ACLS and a minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Medical-Surgical ICU setting in a hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Additional certifications preferred: NIHSS and PALS
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and none during the first week of orientation
