Showroom Intern - Summer

Department: Operations Location: PURPLE LA Description PURPLE LA is actively seeking bright and enthusiastic interns to join the Showroom team in its Los Angeles Office. Candidates should have a genuine passion for Fashion & VIP PR, Business Development and Operations. They must be organized, driven, creative, willing to learn, and take initiative. Good written communication skills and a basic understanding of public relations are also desired. Key Responsibilities Assist with front office and showroom tasks, including front desk coverage, greeting clients, visitors, and staff, and answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Manage supply, showroom merchandising, and inventory. Support sample trafficking (returns and sends) in an organized fashion. Process incoming and outgoing designer collections. Maintain accurate inventory and uphold launch metrics standards. Help prepare and break down executive meetings. Create content for internal communications. Support ad‑hoc projects as needed by the business. Assist with creating brand lookbooks. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Commit to 2‑3 days in‑person a week (9 AM–5 PM). Eligible to receive school credit. Retail experience is a plus but not required. Internship is on site only; no remote work opportunities. Intern Payment and Working Hours This is an unpaid internship; however, students will receive academic credit and the internship meets the criteria for academic credit.
