Group Product Manager, Creator Monetization and YPP

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 5 years of experience in developing internet products and technologies. 3 years of experience in people management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in a technology or business related field. 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI,marketing, finance, and other stakeholders. 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., generalmanagement, business operations, consulting, strategic marketing or similar). Experience in incentive programs, partner monetization programs, or creatoreconomy. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact executive presentations oncomplex technical and business topics. ABOUT THE JOB: As a part of the Creator Monetization team, you will be responsible for drivingand evolving the YouTube Partner Program and monetization experiences to meetthe needs of creators around the world as our landscape, products and businessobjectives evolve. You will set the strategy, design, and execute the programsthat delivered $100B in earnings to 3M+ creators over the past 4 years. Yourteam will be accountable for monetization features such as business sharing forads, subscriptions, fan funding, as well as incentive programs (where we havebig ambitions to do more) collaborating with the relevant product peers. As a part of this team, your mission is to attract, invest in, and recognize allpromising and trusted creators to ensure they lean into YouTube, from smallchannels who are just getting traction to our biggest and most establishedcreators, YPP is at the heart of the creator economy. You will build globalprograms and experiences that help make YouTube the best place for creators togrow their channels and build their businesses. As Group Product Manager, you will lead the Product Management team responsiblefor YPP’s programs, flexible incentive funds, and monetization experiences, asthe creator economy, YouTube’s business, and the competitive landscape israpidly evolving with the rise of short form video, social shopping, and brandsponsorships. Your role is charged with evolving monetization programs andexperiences to ensure that YouTube remains the most rewarding place forCreators. Define product requirements, co-lead product design and development, and ownproduct roadmaps. Lead collaboration with engineering, UX, go-to-market, legal, finance, andothers to deliver excellent solutions for creators. Align leadership through effective communication and navigating tradeoffswith objective, data-driven criteria.
