Safety Coordinator

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations team supporting various operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

What’s the Job?

THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE, 6 days a week, 12 hr shifts ( Mon-Sat 6pm-6am) plus Sunday as needed. 60hrs/week with possible 60+ hrs /week.

Position Summary: The Safety Coordinator ensures workplace safety by developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting training, and monitoring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct safety training and drills.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations.

• Investigate accidents and incidents.

• Maintain safety records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to conduct training and presentations.
