Job Title
L.E.A.S.E. is seeking a talented individual with the ability and desire to support students with disabilities with behavioral needs.
Duties
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to assist the team in developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans. Assist in the implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans. Collect and summarize behavior data for the purpose of assessing and monitoring student progress. Provide modeling and feedback to educational staff in the implementation of evidence based behavioral and instructional practices. Provide professional development trainings to educational staff on evidence based behavior management strategies and other topics as needed. Develop transition plans for students returning to their home school districts. Assist and coach districts with the implementation of these plans. Provide support for districts seeking assistance with behavioral needs of students. Actively participate on various educational teams to support proactive and responsive behavioral interventions to support students with challenging behaviors.
Qualifications
Special Education, social worker, or school psychology degree required. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or in process of obtaining. Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff. Ability to work independently and prioritize and tasks for self and others. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Critical thinking skills and problem solving.
