## Medical Laboratory TechnicianApplylocations: Paducah, KYtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R26103605**Summary****Job Description:****Medical Laboratory Technician****Full time, 5:30pm-7:00am – 3 days a week with weekend rotations**Prepares, performs and records testing procedures in accordance with established criteria as assigned with any or all the sections of the Clinical Laboratory.**Job Duties:*** Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.* Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the coordinator.* Participate in Laboratory Quality program. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples.* Perform tasks at an acceptable pace to ensure the prompt reporting of accurate patient results.
