NewtekOne is looking to add a Junior Business Data Analyst  to the team!

The Junior Business Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple internal and external sources to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with reporting and visualization tools, and an interest in marketing analytics within the financial services or banking industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned as needed):

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external data platforms and providers.
• Develop, modify, and execute reports using various software applications and reporting tools.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visual reports to monitor key business and marketing metrics.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and opportunities within data to support marketing strategies and executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and data integrity.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of products, technologies, and services.
• Assist in developing customer segmentation and profiling models to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness.
• Execute bulk email marketing campaigns using Marketo and provide post-campaign analytics and performance reporting.
• Support ongoing business analysis initiatives and contribute recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience with Marketo software preferred.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, including onsite work in Boca Raton, FL and remote work from a home office.
• Experience with Fiserv Premier Core, Business Analytics, Director, Prologue, and companion applications is a plus.
• Prior work experience as a Data Analyst within financial services, banking, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, data manipulation, reporting, and data interpretation.
• Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and relational databases.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Experience in digital marketing and campaign analytics is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
