Job Title: Senior Physical Security Project Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Senior Physical Security Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of comprehensive physical security system projects. In this role, you will manage end-to-end deployments-including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, and supporting low-voltage infrastructure-in alignment with established PMO standards and governance frameworks.

This is a high-visibility, technical project management role requiring close coordination across corporate security, IT, and external business partners. You will conduct site assessments, direct subcontractors and technicians, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all job sites. Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Lifecycle Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and milestone deliverables using approved PMO methodologies and templates.
• Site Assessments: Conduct on-site evaluations to validate design requirements, installation conditions, risk factors, and structural readiness.
• Low-Voltage Coordination: Direct the installation, testing, and commissioning of physical security technologies, including electronic access control, CCTV, alarm panels, intercoms, and structured cabling.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight: Manage external subcontractors, field technicians, and equipment vendors to ensure strict adherence to scope, safety codes, and quality standards.

Quality Control & Operations
• On-Site Leadership: Lead on-site operations, enforce safety compliance (e.g., OSHA standards), troubleshoot technical roadblocks, and ensure efficient workflow sequencing.
• Documentation & As-Builts: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, change orders, progress reports, and as-built drawing packages.
• System Commissioning: Oversee system testing, functional verification, and smooth operational handoffs to internal support and maintenance teams.

Financial & Stakeholder Management
• Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets, labor hours, material costs, and financial performance, proactively addressing scope changes and preparing formal change orders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal partners, delivering structured status reports, dashboards, and timeline updates.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 7+ years of professional experience managing physical security or low-voltage installation projects in enterprise environments.
• Technical Mastery:
oStrong working knowledge of electronic access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and related hardware/software architectures.
oHands-on familiarity with enterprise access control and security management platforms (e.g., AMAG, Software House, Genetec, or equivalent systems).
oProven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, architectural blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Core Competencies: Proficiency with project management tools and documentation practices; valid driver's license with the ability to travel to active job sites; exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, CPP, or manufacturer-specific technical credentials (e.g., Genetec, AMAG, Avigilon).
• Background in construction management, general contracting environments, or working directly for a physical security systems integrator.
• Experience coordinating multi-trade construction sequencing and ensuring strict job site safety compliance.
